At Brabham our mission is to ensure all students are prepared for high school and lifelong learning.

Mrs. Currey is excited about teaching American History. She is a veteran teacher of twenty-two years, twenty of which have been with Willis I.S.D. She has a Business Degree from Sam Houston State University, and a Master's Degree in Education from Lamar University. Mrs. Currey has one son, Jonathan, who graduated from WISD in 2001 and attained a Physics Degree from Stephen F. Austin University.

Upcoming Test - Wednesday, May 17

The U.S. history test on Wednesday will cover the American Revolution, Civil War, U.S. Constitution - 7 Principles and Amendments, and Reformers. The students will receive a review on Monday that they should complete in class. 
Also, please note that students were allow on Friday, May 12 to make up missing work or retake tests in class. Some took advantage of this opportunity.  I have a list of assignments that student can complete to replace low grades. I will have tutorials after school on Monday & Tuesday. The assignments are as follows:
Students are to write all answers in complete sentences. Do not write the question. The assignment are to be done in this order. I will accept these assignments through next Friday only with a maximum grade of 70, unless the student was absent the day of the assignment.

Civil War TEST - Tuesday, March 21

We will continue the information for the Civil War throughout this week. Students will get a review on Friday, March 10. We will review the Monday after Spring Break and take the test on Tuesday, then we will be covering Reconstruction.
