BMS Honor Band earns first ever Straight-1's Sweepstakes Award for UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Competition!

On Thursday, April 30th the BMS Honor Band traveled to Klein High School to perform for the Region VIIII Varsity UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Competition. After many months of hard work and practicing the band earned 1st-Division Superior Ratings from all three judges for their stage performance and 1st-Division Superior Ratings from all three judges for their sight-reading process and performance. This is the first time in the history of the Brabham Band that any band has earned all Superior Ratings for their annual assessment from each judge, illustrating the outstanding progress the program has made in the last few years. In addition, this success followed the BMS Symphonic Band earning 2nd-Division Excellent Ratings for their stage and sight-reading performances on Tuesday, April 28th at Tomball High School. We are super proud of our young musicians! It's a great time to be a part of the Brabham Bobkat Band!!!
