About Mr. Henson

Mr. Henson is beginning his third year of teaching. He originally began his career in Midland, where he taught 8th grade English and coached Football, Basketball and Track. Last year,he had the opportunity to teach and coach at the high school level in Anderson-Shiro ISD. Mr. Henson enjoyed the opportunity, but realized he missed Middle School students. He is excited to have this opportunity to work with Middle School students again here at Brabham Middle School.
Mr. Henson grew up in Amarillo, a small-town ranch kid,and played every sport offered at the school. After an injury ended his College football career, he transferred to the University of Texas Permian Basin. During his three years there, he worked  as a Substitute Teacher in Midland ISD. After graduation, Mr. Henson was offered his first in Midland ISD.
Mr. Henson has high expectations for his students! He expects 120% effort in all things and promises to give 120% in teaching his students!
